SAVE International is a professional organization dedicated to the practice and enhancement of the Value Method. (The Value Method is also called Value Engineering, Value Analysis, Value Management, Value Planning, etc.) It accomplishes this mission through education, generating an understanding of the principles, methods, and concepts of the technology, and certification of those fully qualified to practice the Method.
The Value Method is a generic term for a highly efficient, productive decision process that is used to improve value in an organization, product, facility design, system or service. By enhancing the value characteristics, the Value Method increases customer satisfaction, adds investment value, increases market share, and increases profit. It can be applied to any business or economic sector, including industry, government, construction and service. Using the Value Method is a very successful long-term business strategy.
The SAVE International Rocky Mountain Chapter is a local area chapter for the United States. Its area encompasses Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Utah. The local chapter holds network and educational programs to increase the knowledge of local professionals in the application of the Value Method.
